      Politics can do a lot of things to people and the societies they form. Over the years, politics has changed. Mostly governments have become bigger, more costly, and less effective. They’ve been quite successful at convincing many people that what they do is good for everybody, that they are a necessary, and irreplaceable part of our lives.

      It’s true we need a central body to create, adjust and adapt our laws so that all of us have a peaceful, free, and safe environment to live in. It just needs to be smaller and less expensive.

      This site will provide commentary and information on various provincial and federal government departments and their shenanigans, some critical, some favourable. (Governments do make the very odd decision that bodes well for the general population.)
